Apple introduced iBoot 359.3.2 to avoid the jailbreaking of iPhones. iBoot basically avoids the 24Kpwn exploit which was made to jailbreak iPhone. With the introduction of iBoot, the newer iPhones can only be jailbroken with a technique called ‘Tethered Jailbreak’. Lets look at the definition: Tethered jailbreak is the one in which you have to plug your iPhone to computer if it shuts down or runs out of power while in case of untethered jailbreak the iPhone can be powered on with the power button in case of shut down.

Now, Renaud seems to introduce a device which could be used for tethered jailbreak. I guess jailbreaking would become an expensive task since you’ll have to buy this small device in order to jailbreak new iPhones. Sure its simple, restart your iPhone and after the iTunes logo pop up, insert iDongle to your iPhone, wait for unlock symbol appearing at the screen, unplug the iDongle and there you are with a jailbroken phone in your hands.
