Security Alert: ATM Skimmer can steal your information away

I never heard about an ATM Skimmer before I checked a lot of information about it on Twitter. It is a scary idea since it can steal your ATM confidential information such as credit and debit card information. ATM Skimmer is basically a device which has been made to fix on the mouth of an ATM machine making it difficult to sense the difference between the actual ATM mouth front and the device which means when you insert a card; it would be going to the mouth of a theft machine stealing your information right away.

An interesting fact is that the ATM skipper has been around for some years now and it is being improved as the time progresses. The following ATM skimmer was found on a Citibank ATM in California.

Never Burn Your Clothes Again with the Auto Lift Iron

Above all, if you leave the iron unattended, it will automatically be turned off in 8 minutes and when you come back; your touch will make the iron active again.

One of my Chinese friends forgets a lot; usually he forgets his phone at home while in a rush to go to the office. However, I was amazed when yesterday he called me and told me about the new application which he has bought allowing him to see miscalls and text messages from internet even if his mobile phone rests at home. How amazing, right? The software seems to work similar to IHOUND software which is used to retrieve the phone in case it is lost.

The application has an easy to use GUI; you need to create online account and after your account has been made, input the account information in the mobile application and that’s all. You will be able to monitor your phone with online application. The information which you can retrieve from the phone includes remaining battery, Missed Calls and Text messages. Now the most useful part, you can not only see but respond to the miss calls and messages as well by typing in a response and sending it to the caller.

Recently, Kempler & Strauss have launched a watch phone called “Special Ops Quad Band Watch Phone” which shows companies won’t give up implementing the ‘watch phone’ idea.

Made of stainless steel, the watch phone looks smart and comes in a black color which gives a spy look to whoever wears this gadget. Interestingly, it is equipped with all the latest technologies which any decent mobile phone has that is touch screen LCD display, Bluetooth (with a Bluetooth handset) and a 1GB Micro SD card. It took me some time before I learnt how to do this with tools and software free of charge but don’t worry; I will be sharing the process in a simple way so that it can save your precious time.
