HOW TO DISABLE OR ENABLE WINDOWS SIDESHOW IN WINDOWS 7 OR VISTA
A technology that transfers information from computers to different supporting devices is Windows SideShow. As its name makes it obvious, it is only compatible with Windows devices. The information such as email’s, calendar, news, reminder, pictures e.t.c, can be transferred to a device can be updated/transferred even if on sleep mode or if the computer is turned off.
The compatible device users may not even like to ling their device to SideShow, thus the Windows SideShow compatible devices are not popular in the market.
Here is how to turn off or turn on SideShow on your device:
- Open Local Group Policy Editor.
- Open the following path; User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windoes SideShow
- Windows SideShow can be turned off by double clicking the Turn off Windows SideShow option on the right hand side on the window.
- Similarly Windows SideShow can be turned on by simply selecting the radio button of Disabled or Not Configured.
- Once it is done simply click the OK button to proceed.
- Click OK button and you are done.
